Big or Small, Every Underground Scanning Project Gets Our Full Attention

Blog · September 22, 2025

In our time in the underground scanning business, Enhanced Scanning has taken on many what we would call “conventional” scanning projects. These are projects like scanning the ground around a home or commercial building prior to excavation work being done, or scanning a concrete slab to locate rebar and other embedded items. These types of projects are the bread and butter of our business, and we complete them pretty much on a daily basis. We have general contractors who call us out regularly for all of their projects that need underground scanning, as well as private property owners who call us out for a single scan because they want to know where all of the buried infrastructure is located on their land.

Even though we complete projects like these often, we treat each one like it is the most important project we have—because to that client, it is! Every project we take on—big or small—gets our full attention. We don’t prioritize big jobs over small ones. We also don’t over-schedule our technicians, causing them to have to rush through a job to get to the next one on time. Instead, we allow them plenty of time on each job to thoroughly scan the area in question and evaluate the results.

We also take the time to deliver the results in the way the client prefers. Some clients want flags placed in the ground, indicating where buried utilities are located. Others just need us to spray paint directly on the ground or concrete. Still other clients are looking for a digital file that they can save to have on hand for later use. No matter what our clients need, the Enhanced Scanning team can deliver.

For most local projects, someone from our team can typically get to your site within a day or two if your project requires a fast turnaround time, and many times, we can deliver the results on site. Some underground scanning technologies require us to process the results off site, but most of our clients get the information they need before the technician leaves.

The team at Enhanced Scanning would love to help you out with your underground scanning needs, whatever they may be. No project is too big or too small for our experienced and helpful team. When you contact our office, we will ask you a short series of questions about your project to determine things like what equipment to bring, how much time to allow, and what deliverables you will require. We can also answer any questions you may have about the underground scanning process over the phone. We look forward to hearing from you.
